PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Chedington is a luxury, high end condominium located in the Bayview/Bridlepath area of Toronto. In looking for an experienced Toronto building restoration contractor, Armour Restoration was chosen by the condominium board and engineering consultant EXP to pressure wash the exterior pre-cast concrete and paint the balcony railings. Armour Restoration has years of experience in performing Toronto condominium balcony repairs and working with condo boards, property managers and condo engineer consultants.
Over the years, the pre-cast exterior and brick had become stained from the copper flashing and dirt accumulation. Meanwhile, the condominium's railings had also become weathered and the condo board wanted to paint the railings black from its current faded green.
ACTION PLAN
- Set up and mobilize safety barriers, swing stages and a temporary onsite paint tent
- Power wash the exterior vertical sections with high pressure water from the swing stages.
- Juliette balconies were removed from the building via swing stage and brought to the paint tent for grinding, priming and painting with a high end DTM paint. Open balconies were grinded and painted in place.
- Juliette balconies were re-installed
