Underground, waterproofing membranes are applied to concrete garage slabs and tend to have a good life span when they are installed correctly. Usually after 20 to 30 years, they begin to deteriorate and fail to protect against leaks. These repairs can be a big undertaking and normally involve restoring the building’s exterior and surrounding landscape as well.
