PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Our team was asked to conduct an inspection and report on the condition of the window sealants of a U of T building, where leaks were coming into the offices through the windows and flashing. We determined that the existing sealant was deteriorated, applied inconsistently, and improperly repaired.
ACTION PLAN
- We accessed the angled curtain wall with a 60-foot boom lift.
- Our team removed all existing polyurethane sealant to properly apply the new product.
- We replaced the previous sealant with a high-grade structural silicone sealant that offers our client a 20-year warranty.
